Laura Bowne Barry

Laura earned her Bachelors’ of Business Administration with a specialization in insurance at The College of Insurance (now known as St. John’s University, Risk Management and Insurance) and her Juris Doctorate at Rutgers Law School, Newark, NJ. She was awarded the Theodore H. Sorg Prize in law school, for having the highest GPA in property classes. Following law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable James J. Petrella, Presiding Judge for the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of N.J. She is licensed to practice law in all State and Federal courts in New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, among other organizations.

In addition to her substantial experience as an attorney to small businesses and individuals, Laura works closely with David Barry in assisting mental health professionals with their business needs. Together, they offer a unique service to provide mental health professionals with important insights into the legal, regulatory and business challenges they face.
